A bit about me...
I am a recent graduate of Missouri State University. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre with an emphasis in Directing and Producing for the stage, a minor in Communication Studies, and a certificate in Interfaith Engagement.
My passion for theatre comes from my need to bring authentic stories to life in dynamic and creative ways. I became immersed in the wonderful world of theatre during a time in my life where I felt my story wasn't able to be told and that my voice didn't matter, through theatre I was able to become more confident, outspoken, a better leader, and found the courage to be my authentic self. I produced my first show outside of school at 16 years old and since then have gone on to work in all facets of theatre from acting to designing to producing as well as all kinds of theatre from plays to musicals to one acts and even haunted houses! Theatre has allowed for me to feel like I matter, like I belong, and I wish so badly to continue to create that feeling of comfort and safety for all future theatre makers.
When I'm not working on productions, you can find me amongst stray cats, going to concerts with friends, or trying to find a new local coffee/tea/vintage shop to support. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow as an artist and person, as well as helping mentor the next generation of theatre makers so that they can continue to bring stories to life!
