Meddling Kids!
Serving as Company Manager of Laboratory Theatre Company, I have helped L.T.C. produce the world premier of Meddling Kids!, this show was created by MSU students Lauren Hulsebus & Charlie Foy and features lyrics and music by Jackson Lee Reed. This production is an original, spoof-comedy, full-length, musical that features the talents of students of varying majors in the theatre and dance department of MSU. In addition, for this production, L.T.C. will be partnering with the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri to collect donations for all of their four legged friends waiting to be adopted.
This show has created a wonderful opportunity for cast and creative team members to bring a story to life for the first time. We've had multiple moments in and out of the rehearsal room that have created adaptations to the script to make it unique to this first performance run. In addition, this was the first time L.T.C. has worked with multiple writers staring in their own work. This created an opportunity for me as Company Manager to adapt our company member contracts to better fit the new needs of the situation.
