The Drowning Girls

As a producer for Laboratory Theatre Company's production of Beth Graham, Charlie Tomlinson & Daniela Vlaskalic's The Drowning Girls, my duties included creating applications for both directing and creative team members. In addition, I created company member announcement posts for social media, applied for the rights for the production, ensured our playbill adhered to the contract publicity requirements, created publicity detailing how LTC will be collecting donations for our community outreach partner, scheduled and attend all interviews for potential director's and creative team members, sent out offers and deferrals to company members, collected contracts and publicity releases from all company members, as well as answering any questions the directing team had during the casting process.
This production is set to go up February 9th of 2024 at the Studio Blackbox owned by Springfield Little Theatre in Springfield, MO. Tickets are free to the public as Laboratory Theatre Company is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, in addition, we will be accepting donations for our community outreach partner, Harmony House Domestic Violence shelter. This decision to partner with Harmony House came from a collaborative discussion between the Executive Board members on what themes in The Drowning Girls Script we felt were important and could be used to fulfill LTC's community outreach goal.
