ZACH Internship

For my post-undergraduate summer internship, I acquired a position as the Developments and Arts Administration Intern for ZACH Theatre is Austin, TX! 

For this internship, I worked for ZACH's Education Department during their 11 week summer camp season. My responsibilities included learning how to process camp registrations and client information through Tessitura, creating rosters for each week of camp, monitoring the Edu Department email and phone, working as a Teaching Artist for 6th-12th grade co-ed student during the Pre-Professional Company Audition camp week, subbing in for counselor interns and monitoring groups of 14 co-ed students ages 6yrs-12yrs, helping coordinate parent/camper drop off and pick up, assisting with classroom management and behavioral issues, and working and communicating with fellow admins, interns, campers, and parents daily.

I loved being able to be surrounded by the future of the theatre industry as well as fellow passionate theatre makers dedicated to making sure ZACH camp kids had the best summer ever. Thank you to Nat Miller, Chase Brewer, Michelle Gomez, Monica Willis, and the entire ZACH camp summer 24 intern crew for making this experience so educational and wonderful!
